Pheonix is, besides Oswego, is perhaps the most popular stop along the Oswego Canal. It offers free power, water, water and the famous Bridge House Brats at Henley Park who will do most anything for you for a tip.

Schroeppel Historical Society Museum
The Schroeppel Historical Society Museum in Phoenix is located near Lock 1 on the Oswego Canal. The museum is open to visitors on Saturday afternoons, June through August, from 1 to 4 P.M.
Located in the former St. John's Episcopal Church at the corner of Main & Volney Streets, the museum is within easy walking distance from the canal. Stop by and check out the collection of local history, including early canal and village photos and postcards. Moreover, the historic building is listed on the Local, State and National Registers.
The museum is also open from the late Spring to early December by chance or appointment. During the summer you may inquire at Lock 1 for contact information.
